Large Format Engraving on Glass, Deep Etching on Big Rocks
Steve Rosborough
2011-03-29
Since I had to give up my large format laser last year, I can't engrave large panes of glass (bigger than 29" x 34") for architectural and decorative uses. I have to concentrate on the smaller stuff, and decline when people ask for larger etchings. No more! Now I have an association with a company in Montreal, called Replik Creation Unique.

Replik is a young, dynamic company specializing in large format laser engraving and color printing based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Replik has assembled a team of detail-oriented professionals who are committed to customer service who work hard to offer you a personalized service according to your unique needs. Replik’s mission is to remain on top of technological innovations in order to provide our customers with the most ground-breaking personalized service in Laser Engraving, Montreal.

If you should decide to do business with Replik, please let them know that Starlite sent you.

And speaking of things I can't do, people keep asking me if I can etch their address or a sign or a logo into the big boulder in their front yard. I'm afraid that this particular request is beyond my capabilities as well. But, in the same manner as the above link to Replik's site, I know who may be able to help you out with deep etching in large rocks: Signworks Plus here in Edmonton can do that - they make a vinyl stencil and sandblast the image into the rock on-site. Their website: http://signworksplus.blogspot.com
They are pretty creative folks over there, they should be able to get all your questions answered.
Again, if you decide to work with Signworks Plus, let them know that Steve sent you, from Starlite Laser Creations
